Temporary Disabled of VPS Master Panel [Enabled VPS Login Panel]

  • June 18, 2013 by Tech #1
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to disabled the VPS Master Panel login.
Recently, there was exploit found for Solusvm panel that we use, which has caused many node/VPS been deleted by the attacker. However, this does not affect our node. You can follow the news via twitter: https://twitter.com/search?q=solusvm&src=typd

Though there is a patch released by SolusVM on last sunday, there is still another attack today reported by few people. Subsequently, we need to disable the master panel as preventive measure.

As such, if you need to reboot your VPS, please submit a ticket via support@bennykusman.com.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards,
BK Web Solutions

Update:
19 June 2013 - SolusVM release an patch for the security fix (http://blog.soluslabs.com/2013/06/19/security-updates-available-for-all-solusvm-versions/), but we are still unsure if this fixes the issue. As such, we are in wait-and-see mode until SolusVM can guarantee that the loophole has been patched.

27 June 2013 - SolusVM has released few patches and yet to confirm that the audit is completed. As such, we still not opening the access to SolusVM to clients till we receive clearance from SolusVM

28 June 2013 - Checked with solusvm, that they have completed their internal code audit and was given green light for users to login. As such, we have already opened the solusvm panel login for client. Thank you for your patience.
