Firstly, we would like to apologize for the much inconvenience that has happened for the past 4 days.
Like many others, the event of the Datacenter maintenance has caught everyone by surprise.
On early hours on 24 January, we started to notice intermittent connectivity issue, which at the same time happened during Cogent maintenance in the same DC building.
However, we were pointed out that the DC is undergoing full day maintenance which should last not more than 6 hours downtime.
By this time, our access to the sosys.net portal has lost and we were not able to send a broadcast email. On this, we truly sorry. Some customers whom reaching via email support@sosys.net still get responded as we managed the gmail account directly.
We were then promised for immediate recovery on 24 January as the maintenance were ongoing. This has continued to drag to 25 January, and again until 28 January.
By this, we have established few contact among hosters, updating each others on the status and possible workaround.
Our servers were thankfully in good state, no data corruption, but missing routes in the DC router. This has taken significant on DC side for the rectification and recovery time.
As of early 29January, connectivity returned to normal state and we performed health check which returned OK.
Once again, we deeply apologize for this unprecedented issue and let us know if you need to speak further on this matter.
