I cant emphasize enough on how we invest back the profits into the hardware that eventually benefits you again!
The US servers, particularly located in Phoenix (Arizona) will get major uplift in terms of disk. As people are slowly moving to SSD in the US datacenter, we are also following the waves!
Phoenix server (affecting the shared/reseller hosting, and VPS customers) are going to get major boost in the hdisk from LSI 9271-4i SAS hardisk into Samsung 850 Evo 1TB. We are also offloading the servers into multi-node to ensure you get the best out of it. The processor remains the same on e3-1270v3 with DDR3 memory.
If you are a shared/reseller hosting or VPS customers are located in Phoenix server (those under 199.30.xx.xx IP address), you are affected with this event.
Planned downtime will be on 12th June 2015 at around 10PM Singapore time.
You will stay on the same IP address, no change to your end. The downtime for each client will be kept minimal, with estimated of 1 hour or less, and we also will keep the latest backup to offsite location to prevent any mishap. If there is any change on the implementation date, we will send you immediate notice.
Best of all, there is no additional charge to you to enjoy this SSD upgrades.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at support@sosys.net if you have any questions.
Looking forward to serve you much better!
