As part of our preventive measure, we will be replacing LA server LSI Raid card battery which is now reporting as predictive failure. This battery is commonly used to flash on-the-fly data into the disk during sudden power failure.
Your data should not be affected by this replacement, but as precaution, we are going to take offsite backup 1 day prior.
During this maintenance, we need to shutdown the server as this part replacement cant be done online.
