The current inflation has significantly affected our operational expenses such as rental, domain fees, and colocation cost. On top of all that, the exchange rate of IDR to SGD/USD has continued to worsen in the past years. Our last price increase exercised in 2024, which adjusted our exchange rate by IDR 2,000 from IDR 8,000 / 1 SGD to IDR 10,000 / 1 SGD. Currently, the market exchange rate per 1 SGD has reached IDR 13,900 and increase in domain registrar pricing is expecting to take place in the August.
In light of these circumstances, we face the difficult decision of increasing our service pricing for invoices issued in IDR. The new exchange rate will be adjusted to 1 SGD = IDR 12,000, effective from your next renewal billing cycle. Please note, there will be no pro-rated invoices issued. This new rate remains below the current market exchange rate, and we hope it provides some relief.
